Liquor Licensing

Scotland's liquor licensing laws have recently undergone a dramatic overhall with the introduction of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, which has had an extensive effect on Scottish businesses, both large and small.

We have a small but dedicated and energetic team who can offer a broad range of services to our various clients who include hoteliers, publicans, clubs, hostel proprietors and individual traders.

Our team deal with many Licensing Boards and can offer a personal service working closely with clients' surveyors and architects with a view to achieving the best possible results for all of our clients.

We have forged close ties with the Licensing Boards with whom we principally deal and the services that we can provide include:

Whiskey glass
  • Applications for new Liquor Licenses
  • Occasional Licenses
  • Extensions and Permissions
  • Transfers and Variations of existing Licences
  • Applications for Personal Licenses
  • Hearings and Appeals
  • Tables and Chairs Licenses
  • Late Hours Catering Licenses
  • Licensing Litigation

Our Firm's Commercial Property department can also assist with funding for, and the purchase, sale and leasing of Licenced Premeses.
